We’ve all heard the saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” A woman’s need for a killer swimsuit is no exception. Fed up with her options and yearning for the perfect swimsuit Nichole Carroll went in search of her great white whale; a bikini that blends form and function without sacrificing esthetic appeal.Ceaseless in her search, Nichole doggedly pursued her passion for swimwear that met her exacting standards. It would be a chance meeting with a stranger in Playa Negra, Costa Rica that would change her perspective, and the direction of her search, forever.
In a small beachside tienda, Nichole happened upon a woman who was running her own shop and making her own custom swimwear. Kindred spirits, the two women chatted into the wee hours of the morning, after which Nichole had been inspired to create herself that which she could not find. That night, Tyler Rose Swimwear was born.
Ten years later Nichole is still going as strong as ever. For a decade she has designed, created and styled her trademark suits born of classic Palm Springs style and infused with the essence of the sun-kissed California girl. Music is always the final piece, as the sounds of the 60s, 70s and 80s creatively fuel Nichole’s collections.
It’s been an arduous ten years, with Nichole having created and fostered a brand out of thin air. All the dedication, sacrifice and desire culminating in a bikini fabulous enough to display the name Tyler Rose Swimwear. As committed as ever, Nichole attacks each season with a fervor and unrivaled passion, not just because she knows what she’s doing, but because she loves what she’s doing.
